Representing the very best in compact camera technology, the SAMSUNG NV24HD boasts a 24mm wide-angle and a 3.6x optical zoom lens so you have a wider shooting range. Capture images and record videos in high definition – then watch them on your HDTV in high-quality 720p resolution. Images are richly colored, crisp and clear, simply the best quality available in a digital camera. Crystal-clear digital images can be viewed on a HDTV for the ultimate slideshow through a single HDMI cable. What’s more, the NV24HD is enabled with Anynet+ technology, so all you need is one remote to take control of the action. A wider 180 viewing angle, enhanced color reproduction, ultra-high contrast ratio, and quick near-zero millisecond response time are just some of the advantages of this new, thinner, AMOLED screen. Unlike standard LCDs, the bright 2.5 AMOLED screen reduces the glare from sunlight so you can see your images under any lighting condition. Dual Image Stabilization eliminates the blur caused by camera shake and delivers clear, crisp images every time, even under difficult lighting situations. Integrating the best lens shifting mechanisms of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) with the sophisticated algorithms of Digital Image Stabilization (DIS) corrects even the tiniest of shakes. Whether you’re indoors or out, snapping a landscape or friends around a table, the 24mm Ultra Wide Angle lens gives you a wider shooting range from a shorter distance and more flexibility for a greater variety of high-quality options. The 24mm Ultra Wide Angle is a perfect marriage of advanced versatility with the convenience of a stylish, compact camera. auto, 80, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200 (only 3M) ISO 20MB Internal Memory (additional memory recommended to store more photos and video) Media Card Slot – SDHC Card (up to 8GB), MMC plus (up to 2GB) USB Connector, Video Output, DC Input Approximate Unit Dimensions – 3.9 (W) x 2.4

Helpful consumer’s review
This is a nice little camera. It looks great, feels great, with a nice build quality and finish. Though it may not be the lightest, smallest compact on the market, I find it to be plenty slim and compact so that it easily slips into a pocket. The flash seems to work well, and produces nice skin tones in portraits. The overall image quality is good, but this is not a DSLR, it is an easily transportable compact that is convenient, yet still produces nice images. When images are blown up 100 percent, you can see some smearing or loss of detail, but you won’t notice it under normal viewing conditions (screen size on your computer or printed out in small sizes).
This camera is pretty quick to start up, and the refresh rate of the amoled screen is great. The screen looks great and does indeed work outside in bright light. Processing time after taking a shot is quick, too.
The 24mm equivalent wide angle lens is fantastic to have, a must-have for landscape, architecture, or real estate shooting…or if you want to include a lot of people in one shot.
The “smart touch” interface works only fairly well. It is a great idea, but in all honesty, it can be fiddly at times. Personally it does not bother me now that I am used to its quirks, but some people may prefer more standard controls.
This camera has a full auto mode, a program mode which is like auto but allows control over ISO, exposure compensation and some other parameters. There is also an ASM mode which allows you to choose between aperture priority, shutter priority, and full manual. Full manual allows a full range of shutter speeds, but disappointingly, only a choice of two apertures. But at least there is a manual mode, something many other compacts don’t have.
