Helpful consumer’s review
i was skeptical at first. i was not sure about panasonic making picture cameras. and the price was incredibly low for the amount of megapixels. i took some pictures of moving objects in very low light, and the automatic settings fixed the image. so, it would always be in focus. the flash never burns the skin’s color as well. the video is great. though it does not have 720p. the aperture is somewhat greater than i thought. i took some close-ups outside and compared it with my slr. the depth of field very eminent. i am loving the face detection on this camera too. way faster than my Kodak 1253, and more accurate. the size and its simplicity of use makes it great for those who travel light. also the quality and speed is a plus. great for low light situation (even if you do not want to use the flash). it is a great camera but not a toy. give to you older children and get them introduced to Photography.
